Orders usually ship within 2-3 business days of being placed. Our nursery partners do not fulfill orders on national holidays.
Plants currently ship from California and Florida, so shipping may take between 3 and 6 business days depending on the destination. During periods of inclement weather, shipments may be delayed for the safety of your plant.
All plant orders include free shipping. $8 flat rate ground shipping applies to all non-plant orders (merch, planters, etc.). up to a certain weight. Heavier items such as large planters or bundles of multiple non-plant product are subject to a $15.00 shipping fee. We ship anywhere in the contiguous US (48 states).
We guarantee healthy plants on arrival. If they're significantly damaged or die within 14 days of arrival, we'll replace them—no questions asked. Send photos to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get you sorted.
Unfortunately, we’re not on par with Amazon Prime Now. We will definitely let the world know once we've built our drone delivery system to ship live, healthy, happy plants.
We can only ship your order to one address, so if you want to gift ol' Aunt Pippa something, make sure you purchase her order separately.
Our nursery partners ship orders within 1-4 days of receiving it, so for their sanity, we ask that you let us know within 24 hours if you need to modify your shipping address.
If order tracking shows 'Delivered', please wait a couple more days. Sometimes our shipping partners get trigger-happy with their package statuses.

Plants are living, breathing organisms. They don't like dark places. Sometimes, they will need some pruning and light to recover from the shipping process. Give them a couple of days. If they don't bounce back within 3 to 5 days, reach out to us and we will do our best to help!
Honestly, we know how you feel. We’ve killed plants too. Just remember: it’s all about light.
Think of where you want to put the plant and what type of light you get in that area. If low, don’t get a high light plant. If direct light, only get direct light-tolerant plants. Make sure you read the plant care tips on each page and check out our blog for more.

The only thing we can say for certain is that your plant is stressed. Just like us, their stress can stem from different areas of care and environment. Unlike us, they can't talk, so it's up to you to figure out what's bothering them.
How widespread is the yellowing? If it’s just the bottom leaves, see the answer in the next question about leaf drop.
One of the most common causes of yellowing leaves is inefficient watering. Finger your soil a few inches deep. Is it very wet? If so, you may be over watering your plant. Is it bone dry? It may be time for a drink.
Is the plant near a drafty window, in front of an A/C, or near a heating unit? Large swings in temperature throughout the day can stress a plant out.
Check your plant for new growth. If you’ve got some buds and/or leaves coming in, your plant is perfectly fine. It’s normal for plants to shed older growth in order to divert the energy it’s producing to spurn new growth.
Does your plant look like it went out dancing til 4am without staying hydrated? Unlike you, it doesn’t need Pedialyte—give it some water and it’ll perk right back up throughout the day.

Fortunately (and maybe unfortunately, in this case?) all plants are different, just like us. There can be variations in color, variegation, growth, and maturity.
We will always try to do our best in sourcing the highest-quality plants for you, but there definitely will be variations. Uniqueness in nature is a beautiful thing!
Not for our plants. If your plant or planter comes damaged, send us a note ASAP along with pictures of the damage to firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll take care of you.
We do accept returns of unused accessories and merchandise (except from the following vendors: Areaware, NewMade LA, Peach & Pebble, WallyGro and WITT CRAFT). You'll need to cover return shipping costs. Email us at email@example.com with your order number and we’ll figure out the details.
