Goeppertia kegeljanii

This plant sports a mosaic print, almost as if its pattern was painted on with fine lines. Native to Brazil, it thrives with access to lots of sunlight and moisture. Also known as a prayer plant, its glossy foliage moves throughout the day with the rise and fall of the sun.

Bright indirect light. No direct light.

SM: ~7-11" tall and a 4" pot.
MD: ~14-17" tall and a 6" pot.

Pro-tip: Use distilled water or let tap water sit for a day prior. This prevents leaf tip burn.

Did a joint review for mystery box, but here is for just this one.

Lovely patterned leaves. I’m still figuring out the how and when the plant wants water. I’m working on finding a place with a bit more sun. It’s been having new growth but the some of the leaves have been white coloring but otherwise seemed healthy. I’ve had it about a month now so all that is on me and my learning curve! Really excited about it and the other Calathea from the mystery box.
