Peperomia obtusifolia

Unlike real babies, this plant is easy to care for. It has oval-shaped, emerald green leaves and produces light green flower spikes containing tiny white flowers. It hails from the tropical Americas, so make sure it stays in warmer environments and avoid drafty windows.

Medium to bright, indirect light. Direct sun will burn her leaves.

MD: ~12-14" tall and a 6" pot.

Pro-tip: Rotate a quarter-turn every time you water it to maintain even growth.

Note: Bundled options come with one 7" wide ceramic pot and two bags of custom-blended, organic potting mix.

The Perfect Plant

I've wanted a Fiddle Leaf Fig as long as I could remember, but with two Labs that love to get into everything - a toxic plant just wasn't reasonable. I searched some articles, and many mentioned that a baby rubber plant is very similar to a Fiddle Leaf Fig without being toxic to dogs! So I, of course, bought it right away. It came in perfect condition - and it's grown since I got it about a month ago. So happy with Pia, and can't wait to buy more plants from Rooted!

Thriving

Little Pia is thriving in a room that has lots of natural but indirect light. I water her every one-two weeks depending on soil moisture.
