I think my midlife crisis are plants… send help.
I recently turned 35 and found myself reminiscing on the times that I would help my grandmother with her garden, floral shops, and orchids she kept in the dining room. I resolved to get back to my (excuse the pun) roots and start growing plants again.
This was a new experience in buying plants online and I have to say I’m very happy and so is Victor (That’s the name I’ve settled on). The packaging was very secure and very well made (I was actually worried I might damage it getting it out lol). There was one leaf that was limp and yellowing but that’s Alocasias for you sometimes. Once out we waited a day to repot in a custom aroid soil mix, pruned the yellow leaf, and she’s already giving me new growth.
To say that I’m satisfied with my purchase is an understatement. Thank you rooted for such a pretty plant and helping empower me to relive some great memories.
