Sage is the herb that thrives on neglect. First of all, the flavor intensifies as its leaves grow larger. Second of all, and unlike most other herbs, sage will still retain its flavor after it flowers.

Can be harvested through fall.
Pro-tip: Burning sage is often used to cleanse a space of negative energy and to promote healing. Grow your own and then tie branches together with string to dry them upside down. Burn away, my friend.
