Anthurium scherzerianum
Anthuriums grow heart-shaped "flowers", scientifically known as spathes. These are brightly colored to attract pollinators to the spadix, much like you are attempting to attract a date for Valentine's Day. Better than cut flowers, these living blooms can last for 2-3 months and grow back throughout the year.
Medium to bright indirect light.
SM: ~12" tall and a 4" pot.
Pro-tip: Brighter light equals a brighter bloom. If it stops blooming altogether, it needs to be moved to higher light.

The leaves had water spots when my anthurium came out of the box, but it’s in otherwise perfect condition. It has three more spathes in the process of opening up and one of them has opened in the past couple weeks. 😍

The Red Flamingo arrived packaged nicely and in great condition. This is a gorgeous plant with beautiful color. It is happy with some natural sunlight from my bedroom window. I will definitely be getting another one.
