Beaucarnea recurvata

These locks can grow up to three feet indoors, and more than ten feet outdoors. Don't let its common name fool you—it's actually not a palm at all. This plant is a succulent within the agave family, and thrives in similar high light with infrequent waterings.

Pro-tip: This plant are susceptible to root rot, so don't overwater them. 12 oz of water every two weeks is good.

Amazing!

I recently had to get rid of a 10 year old ponytail palm due to mold growth in my re-potting soil.

I've been looking everywhere for a semi-large, nice ponytail palm to replace it, as they're one of my favorite plants, and Rooted did not disappoint. I think this is the biggest, nicest ponytail palm I have ever seen available to consumers. It arrived yesterday, and I can not be more thrilled.

Love my ponytail palm!

This is such a lovely plant. The beauty of it is that it’s a succulent— my favorite type of plants. I was going to keep it at the office but decided not to so that I can admire it more daily as opposed to 2-3 days a week.
