Our custom formulas include organic compost, ground kelp, pine bark, fungi, diatomaceous earth, sphagnum peat moss, and cypress sawdust. They are specifically designed for optimal nutrient absorption.
All-Purpose works best for tropical houseplants, and Arid works best for cacti and succulents.
These two-quart (about 1.7L) resealable bags prolong soil freshness. One bag is perfect for planters up to 5" in diameter. We recommend two bags for planters up to 7" in diameter.

Love having peace of mind that this soil does well for the plants I selected from Rooted and is pet friendly. I purchased 3 bags for my two small & 1 medium plant and should’ve bought more! Looking forward to purchasing additional soil in the near future.

Easy to use, clean delivery, so far seems like my plants are doing great (it’s been ~2 weeks). I love how rooted recommends which soil type to use with each plant and the clear, simple instructions they provide on caring for each plant. I only got 3 small plants so I have soil left over too, but you’d probably need more depending on size of plants you get. Will report back if things change but very happy!

Have you ever gotten a big bag of potting soil from a big store and then two days after planting your house is overrun with gnats? Yeah not so great.
I have ordered soil from Rooted multiple times and never have had a bad experience. I love the different blends they offer and my plants love them too. I now use these mixes exclusively!

The lava rocks are discrete and very useful. I even sprinkled some on the top soil for a nice look.
