Calathea ornata

This striped calathea makes quite the impression with its striking pink and green foliage. It thrives in high humidity and with a consistent watering schedule. Considered a prayer plant, the leaves move with the rise and fall of the sun.

Medium to bright indirect light.

SM: ~8" tall and a 4" pot.
MD: ~18" tall and a 6" pot.
LG: ~2-3' tall and an 8" pot.

Pro-tip: Use filtered water when watering, or let tap water sit for a day prior. This prevents leaf tip burn.

Beautiful!

Plant is so put together it almost looks fake, as reinforced by others. A joy to watch open and close with each sunset and sunrise. Hope to watch continued growth, as I set out for a medium plant, but they were out of stock. Love having peace of mind that the Calathea Pinstripe is pet-friendly!

Large Healthy Plant

I was a bit hesitant given how finicky Calatheas can be but my bedroom was in dire need of some plant decor. I caved and took a chance with the Pinstripe. Fingers crossed it’ll survive. Looking to add another Calathea if this one flourishes.
