Pro-tip: Place in front of a window for best results, preferably with southern or western exposure.

Please note that this cactus is a cutting, sold bare-root. Want a DIY kit? Shop the DIY Peruvian Apple Cactus Kit. Not sure how to pot? Check out our cactus potting guide here.

WOW

I ordered my Peruvian Apple Cactus from rooted as soon as the 4 1/2 foot were available. I received my cactus within 2 weeks and it arrived in perfect condition. I couldn't believe how tall he was when I opened the box. His name is Octavia, we call him Tave. 😂 I can't wait to see the flowers and more importantly I can't wait till I can eat the fruit. If you're thinking about getting yourself one of these HUGE bad boys, don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed.

Exactly what I wanted!

I love it! I ordered from rooted because I liked what I saw. I had ordered a smaller version from another company, and unfortunately, it died within a couple weeks. This one just looked different than the one I bought elsewhere. This cactus looked healthy, sturdy, established and strong. It came packaged well, too. So far, it's doing great!
