Aloe vera

This popular kitchen plant is able to flourish in blistering heat and full sun with hardly any water for weeks on end. Its juicy leaves contain a gel-like substance that contains numerous beneficial compounds for all sorts of ailments, most notably sunburn.

Bright and direct light.

Pro-tip: The medicinal gel inside the leaves can be used for burns. Keep in the kitchen for easy access.

Just gorgeous!!!

I bought this for a friend of mine. I was shocked to open the box up and see this foot tall (at least) Aloe Vera. It was quite top heavy when I got it so I moved it to a larger pot! Poor thing kept falling over!! She had commented how she had wanted one for her new apartment so I bought it for her as a late housewarming gift! She’s really going to be surprised at its size as I was. I hope she loves it!!! This one is beautiful!! I may get one for myself down the road. There are so many beautiful plants here that I could cover my whole house in green! But, I think I will just love the ones I have for now. I have ten to fifteen. And maybe eventually I can get cuttings off of the ones I have so I may share the peace I get from them!! Thank you, HeyRooted.com
