Don't let this plant's prickly stem scare you off. Despite its appearance, it's as hardy as they come. Rose colored flowers grow atop the emerald green foliage. Just keep it in the sun, and it's sure to thrive.

Came beautifully packaged and very healthy. I transplanted right away from the nursery pot using cactus-specific growing medium around the standard soil used in the nursery and then fertilized with cactus fertilizer and left her alone. Two days later I’m already seeing new growth and new blooms!!

It was tough and go for a bit, but I think my daughter is getting the hang of taking care of this one because it seems to be pretty healthy again.
