Scott
Ant Plant
Hydnophytum puffii
Scott is quite an unusual looking plant. As he grows, his caudex will become riddled with tunnels meant to house ants. In nature, they share a beneficial relationship. The ants have a home, and Scott... well, Scott eats their poop. If only there were some type of shrinking technology so we could check out the digs for ourselves.
*This plant will not invite ants/pests into your home*
Low to bright indirect light.
Every 2-3 weeks when soil is dry.
Toxic to pets if consumed.
SM: ~10-12" tall and a 4" pot.
The caudex will enlarge over time.
Pro-tip: If foliage is browning or appears to be scorched, the light is probably too bright. Text us at 646-430-8699 for tips!
