Ceropegia woodii

If you never thought a plant could be romantic, think again. The string of hearts has heart-shaped leaves marked with silver variegation and grows unique, purple blooms. Unlike most matters of the heart, it requires minimal attention.

Bright indirect light. Short periods of direct light are okay.

SM: ~3"-6" long and a 4" pot.
MD: ~5"-6" long and a 6" pot.

Pro-tip: If leaves look thin and shriveled, give it some water and they'll plump up in no time.

  • No sweat
  • Bright indirect light
  • Pet-friendly
  • Every 2 weeks

Lovely

She’s perfect! Grows sooo quickly- I need to repot her already. Pretty easy to care for and I love how long the strings are getting! Arrived in perfect shape with the winter packaging, thank you rooted!

even better than expected!

i thought i accidentally ordered the wrong size, this little plant was lush! the pink on the other side of the leaves is a little less bright IRL, but i love it. it's thriving and is probably longer than my 6-year-old now.

We struggled a little but are thriving now

It was a little difficult finding a spot where this plant had enough light without getting too cold due to window proximity when I first ordered and received it back in October and I made the mistake of not repotting the plant a couple weeks after I got it, but now things are warming up it is thriving in a new pot with drainage and west-facing window with a wide view of the sky!

I do recommend checking when you get it because mine had a couple of hitchhiking snails. They were super small and honestly the plant has been doing fine, I just found a few on it and since this is far from my other plants, it probably came with the snails. I don't mind and just throw them in the trash since they're usually dead. It's more of a heads-up to check or quarantine before you put it with your other plants!

Rooted

Hey Katie, thanks for your review! Snails can be quite common, but definitely not ideal. Sending plants out with snails is always accidental, but never acceptable. We do take preventative action in the greenhouse to fight against this, but sometimes, nature finds its way. We're glad to hear that you figured out the best care for your plant, but are sorry to hear you had some hitchhiking snails join your plant. We hope your plant is now thriving and appreciate your feedback.
